University restaurants open from Monday to Friday (only 2 are open for dinner):

The cost of a meal for non-local people at a university restaurant (RU) is about 9.59 euros, and 16.47 euros at the CESFO restaurant.

  • Restaurant CESFO Plateau, 11:15-13:30, Rue André Rivière, 91400 Orsay (50 m but a meal costs 17.5 euros for non-local people)

  • RU Lieu de Vie, 11:30-14:00, 13 bis rue Joliot Curie 91190 Gif-sur-Yvette, 800 m (11 minutes)

  • RU Henri Moissan, 11:30-14:00, 15 avenue des Sciences 91190 Gif-sur-Yvette, 900 m (12 minutes)

  • RU Les Cèdres d’Orsay, 11:30-14:00 and 18:00-21:30, Bâtiment 406, rue Claude Bernard 91400 Orsay, 750 m (12 minutes)

  • RU Centrale Supélec Eiffel, 11:30-14:00 and 18:30-21:00, 8 rue Joliot Curie 91190 Gif-sur-Yvette, 1000 m (14 minutes)

  • Supermarket Intermarché Express Gif-sur-Yvette, open every day from 8:30 to 20:00, but on Sunday from 9:30 to 12:45.

  • Bakery/Sandwich Boulangerie OCT Tradition, open Monday to Saturday from 7:00 to 19:30

  • Yucai Sushi, open every day from 11:00 to 14:30 (except Sunday), and from 18:00 to 22:00.

  • La Maison du Tacos, open every day from 11:30 to 14:30 (except Sunday), and from 18:00 to 22:30.

  • FO Pizza au feu de bois, open every day from 11:00 to 15:00 (except Sunday), and from 18:00 to 22:30.

Other option at 950 m (13 minutes):
